Recently I've been unable to draw nearly anything. Until yesterday that is. It doesn't look as great, it isn't a complete drawing but it was enough to put a smile on my face. It has been a long time since I draw something that makes me smile. Then I remembered for whom I'm drawing. For myself. I'm not drawing for money. I'm not drawing for commissions. I'm drawing to please my own imagination. I want to make my ideas, my stories make a reality. But for that I need to improve further. My technical abilities are lacking but my imagination flourishes by the day. It grows every time I read, every time I watch a movie, listen a music or simply think into a random thought. Recently a creation of a soul calibur character, playing god of war, and watching videos related to Star Wars and Metal Gear brought forth a new chapter into the story of a character.

Basically this story that came to my mind foretells the journey of a man who wishes to become a warrior powerful enough to challenge the most darkest forces of the universe. He feels like he is weak, fragile, human. So he wants to become stronger just as many in life seek. In the brink of despair and death, a spirit offers him a chance to become unimaginably stronger. The spirit offers him a trial that will test him physically and mentally. A trial of life and death. This trial has been taken by only the most elite of the warriors who have protected the galaxy for millenias. The powerful telekinetic masters, the Rualden. Their wisdom came from this trial but where all they have experienced in their training, this man must do ten times over. The trial of the 100 lives. This trial he must overcome 100 trials set forth in different lives over different dimensions. A experience of a lifetime. Pain, suffering, happiness, anxiety, death, life. He will have to experience everything. He will have to endure everything. For he is the silver. Tainted by darkness yet overflowing with light. Vengeance for the death of his homeworld. Love for the people he has met across his journey. Admiration for the beauty of life. All this emotions will clash into this warrior as he seeks to awaken the power within him.

Well I started going overboard there. My imagination got the better of me. Since I write relatively nothing on my journals. I was considering writing small tidbits of the two stories I'm thinking. Yes thinking. Not making because I'm not confident on my writing skills to start writing it yet. The stories are related to dimensional connections and therefore are both related. Each story has to do with a specific genre. Soul Chronicles mixes fantasy battles with norse god mythology in a epic story. Starlight Connection is the scifi genre and it mixes everything scifi from spaceships, to mecha, to robo girls, jedi like warriors, genetically advanced soldiers, etc. The recent entry which I have nothing but the title has to do with mages. No not harry potter. But it will be a mix of all popular magical stuff.

Perhaps writing about all this will give me some inspiration to draw some more and improve while drawing my characters. But anyway here is a brief introduction to each one.

Soul Chronicles - A mercenary by the name of Alex Calibur finds a woman that completely starts a chain of events which will propel him towards a adventure of his lifetime. Chased by Dragoons, controllers of dragons and in the middle of the beginning of a bloody war, Alex must uncover the secrets of his partner and of his enemies leading him back to the past where he ran away. A past that he will have to face with comrades in arms.

Starlight Connection - Roger Gaignun was the last hope of planet Earth. But things went wrong when a rift in space sucked him up and transported him to another dimension. Now in order to get back he will have to board a prototype spaceship with the ability to travel through dimensions. Litte does he know that he will become involved with a war that will threaten the very foundation of the origin of the universe and all who live in it.

I can say that both stories are connected no matter how remote it might seem. That has been my aim for this last years when I started thinking about this stories. Make stories that are completely connected. They might feel like complete different stories but they are all intertwined.
